ThriveTree collects the following personal information to provide career guidance:

• Name, date of birth, grade, and school board
• City and state of residence
• Assessment responses (interests, strengths, values)
• Career preferences and goal plans
• Email address (for account authentication)

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively for:

• Generating personalized career recommendations
• Building your career exploration profile
• Creating age-based goal plans with data benchmarks
• Improving our assessment and recommendation algorithms

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or behavioral tracking.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. Each student can only access their own data. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

4. Third-Party Services

ThriveTree uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Database and authentication
• Google Gemini API — Adaptive assessment question selection and career narrative generation
• Vercel — Application hosting

No analytics or tracking tools are used.

5. Your Rights

You (or your parent/guardian) can:

• Access all data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time

6. Children's Privacy

ThriveTree is designed for students aged 10-20. We are committed to protecting children's privacy in accordance with the India Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act, 2023). We do not engage in behavioral monitoring, targeted advertising, or profiling of minors.
